Great video mate, had a Focus with manual issues and Ford basically told me to F off. Tried to order the TCM through Ford and apparently they were "Restricted sales" so the possessor was without their car (operational automobile) for over 3 months. I bought a "reconditioned" unit off the net and it wouldn't programme. No wonder in that location is a Class action lawsuit over these transmission faults..

My focus does the same FRICKEN symptoms.

I will never buy a Ford again I have had a 2002 ford focus with now 155,000 still going. purchased a 2015 ford fiesta about 3 months agone and now having to change the TCM it is now at the ford dealer waiting to be installed I purchased a rebuilt from amazon for 275.00 and 270.00 to install. buy toyota never a problem

Mine has been bad for 6 months, I keep my "BlueDriver" code reader plugged into the OBD port and anytime the TCM fault pops up I just do a quick fault code articulate on my phone and she I dorsum to good. Works doing 70mph down the throughway.

Aid. I've been trying to program 2 unlike used TCM for a 2013 Fiesta with no luck . I have a J2534 tool paid for Ford subscriptions. It loses comms when I try to program. Dash goes black and volition not let programme to consummate. Put original TCM (bad) dorsum in and it will program.

Well those trouble codes indicates accutuators which are ii transmission electrical motors one under transmission close to the bottom of TCM and the other uper close to to the top of the TCM under the cooling radiator hose, but controled both directelly by TCM itself, considering their wiring harnesses are attached directelly to the TCM, and so those trouble codes hateful acctuator, or TCM or both, but you were lucky in your example information technology was just TCM only, and and you did the right choice by changing TCM, programe it and everything goes correct. Me i wasent lucky, i inverse TCM, nothing happen just the aforementioned problem, the same trouble codes, at present iam going to alter the both accuators. And reset transmission and then see what happen.

The Focus is far from junk. Simply drove mine 850 miles without a problem. Got 38.5 mpg. on the trip.
